Report: Vick to plead guilty
The Virginian-Pilot of Norfolk reported that former NFL quarterback Michael Vick plans to plead guilty next week to Virginia state dogfighting charges in hopes of winning an early release from federal prison.
F1 cuts costs
The governing body of motorsports and Formula One have reached a deal to cut costs for smaller teams beginning next season. Officials with two of the teams told The Associated Press the cost of engines supplied to independent teams will be capped at $13.2 million a year.
