You may have long suspected that it doesn’t take much brainpower to blog, but here’s your proof. In Japan, a potted plant does it.
The plant, in a cafe near Tokyo, has been wired with sensors that pick up bio-electrical signals and convert them into data that’s translated into Japanese. It’s the project of a university engineer who’s studying how to communicate with plants, according to the BBC.
A typical entry? “It was cloudy today,” the BBC reports. “It was a cold day.”
Sounds like the plant could Twitter, too.
