For a cheap thrill, grab a costume and head to the Halloween edition of the Atomic Sketch Event to watch eight featured artists create on-the-spot paintings, drawings and more, then sell them for low prices (between $1-$50). More of a starving artist than a collector? Don a costume, BYO art supplies and join in. For inspiration, sip $5 Templeton Rye cocktails. 6 p.m.

Invite otherworldly spirits to partake in the more drinkable variety at Boo & Brew: The Haunted Pub Crawl Tour. Meet at Plan B for a cocktail reception, then board a bus with ghost hunter Richard Crowe for a tour of four allegedly haunted bars, including Ethyl’s Party (2600 S. Wentworth Ave.), a former Chinatown funeral parlor with an old embalming room and a DJ stand where the coffins used to sit. As their name implies, local sketch troupe Yeti Crocker takes inspiration from two cultural icons: Betty and Bigfoot. See the group’s new civil disobedience-themed revue, “Yeti Crocker: Big Feet.
