Corey Phillip scored an unassisted goal at 38:17 to give Timothy Christian (18-5-1) the win. Goalkeeper Peter Tameling made four saves in the shutout. The Trojans advance to the state championship game, where they will play Winnebago Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Andy Huftalin scored three goals to lead Winnebago (24-2), which will play Timothy Christian for the state championship.
Class 3A sectional finals
Andrew 1, Brother Rice 0 (3OT)
Matt Prusak scored on an assist from Ryan Butler in the third overtime to win it for Andrew (18-5). Brother Rice ended its season 12-11-1. The Thunderbolts advance to the Normal Community Supersectional, where they will play the winner of Saturday’s Normal Community-Edwardsville game.

Cameron Legan and Alex Scott each scored second-half goals to lead the Red Devils in a come-from-behind victory. Tucker Woolfolk added an assist for the winners, who advance to the Lisle Supersectional to play the winner of Saturday’s Downers Grove South-Neuqua Valley sectional championship game.
