Brodeur has surgery
New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur is expected to miss up to four months after undergoing elbow surgery. The 36-year-old Brodeur will undergo surgery Thursday to repair the distal bicep in the left elbow, the Devils said Tuesday.

Armstrong still unsure
Lance Armstrong has yet to decide whether he will try for an eighth Tour de France title in 2009. “I want to say I’m not trying to be coy; I’m not playing games with [the Tour] or with fans or with media.
