At 214 feet below sea level, the Furnace Creek Golf Course is billed as the lowest golf course in the world. Golfers can test this course with the “Stay & Play” package, providing unlimited play, golf cart rental and overnight lodging at either the family-friendly Furnace Creek Ranch or the historic Furnace Creek Inn.
Except for a holiday blackout period, nightly two-person “Stay & Play” rates through May 9 are $199-$262 at the ranch and $332-438 at the inn, depending on the date. Tax is extra. Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch Resort is in California’s Death Valley National Park, where summer daytime high temperatures of 120 degrees drop to a more reasonable 65-72 in winter.
