Jaden Smith (left) is about to take Hollywood by storm — by a powerful crane kick, actually. The 10-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith is set to star in the remake of the 1984 hit “The Karate Kid,” Variety reports.
And bonus: Jaden’s already into martial arts, according to Variety. Also reported: The script is still being written and filming will begin next year in Beijing. The film will borrow elements from the original plot.
