Silicone basting brushes are so versatile (heat-resistant to 400-plus degrees) and easy to clean (dishwasher safe!). Good-quality models can cost you. But not at Crate & Barrel, where nice, sturdy brushes are … gasp! … $1 each. Hurry: The store is phasing them out, though we’re told there will be a good supply through December.
