*A story Thursday about Winnetka’s repeal of its handgun ban said the village of Oak Park also was taking steps to repeal its handgun ban in response to a recent Supreme Court decision. Oak Park is, in fact, keeping its handgun ban intact.
*In Thursday’s Play section story on Loop Lunches, the phone number for Sopraffina, 175 W. Jackson Blvd., was incorrect. The correct number is 312-583-1100.
*The Nov. 16 issue of the Chicago Tribune Magazine gave incorrect dates for the Christkindlmarket in Chicago. The Christkindlmarket, which is free, runs daily from Nov. 27 through Dec. 24 at Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington St.
*A Nov. 13 article in the Metro section used an incorrect pronoun to attribute a quote from Tracy Cross, a real estate consultant in Schaumburg. Cross is male, not female.
*A community profile on Bridgeport in the Oct. 31 Chicago Homes section misstated the type of homes that Lexington Homes is building in the neighborhood. They are town homes.
