* We can dance if we want to!
HIDDEN AGENDA
Lap dance class at Holistic Health Awareness Center, 5550 S. State St., 773-596-1885, divadancelessons.com
Check it out if you … want to feel sexy while doing some exercise, are looking for a fun way to work out, want to give someone a special holiday surprise.
The details: From 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, the women-only combination dance and fitness class teaches some moves for giving a lap dance. Form fitting clothing is encouraged, but if you feel more comfortable in baggy sweats, that’s OK too. Drop-ins are welcome for a $20 fee, and the classes typically include four to eight people, with some participants registering to come to the course weekly to learn a full routine. It’s not super hard-core exercise, but the idea is to get a little more active with exercises for toning, tightening and increasing flexibility while enjoying your own sensuality. The last regular class of the season is Saturday, but they will be restarting in January. Check the Web site for dates of special dance workshops.
The payoff: Getting active in a way that’s fun to show off.
