No. 2 North Lawndale 85, Hales 75

Warren 89, No. 3 Zion-Benton 84
Brandon Paul scored 27 points to help Warren upset No. 3 Zion-Benton. David Duncan scored 21 points (five three-pointers), James Poliquin added 15 points and 10 rebounds and Jake Anderson had 15 points for Warren (3-1, 1-0 North Suburban Lake). Lenzell Smith scored 39 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, and made seven three-pointers for Z-B (5-1, 0-1). Ronald Steward had 20 points and Quintrell Love 10 for Zion-Benton.

No. 12 Hyde Park 72, Harlan 56
Five players scored in double digits for Hyde Park (2-0): Anthony Dixon (18 points, 10 rebounds), Malcolm Griffin (13 points, six rebounds, six steals), Martell Jackson (14 points, six steals), Fabyon Harris (10 points, five steals) and Aqui Sharees (12 points, five rebounds).

Downers Grove North 42, Addison Trail 39

Emil Clayton scored 24 points and dished out 10 assists in leading King (1-5) to its first victory of the season.

Arthur Jefferson scored 19 points, Phillip Jackson 18 points and Mark Mack 11 for St. Mel (4-0, 1-0 Chicago Prep).

Tilden 57, Gage Park 53
Jerlab Brim had 22 points, seven assists and five steals and Lamont Woods added 15 points, four rebounds and four steals for Tilden (3-4).

Kelvyn Park tournament

Kelvyn Park 69, IMSA 32
Kelvyn Park took second place in its round-robin Thanksgiving tournament. ACT Charter, which defeated Kelvyn Park 63-47 a night earlier, went 3-0 in the tournament and won the title.

Girls basketball

No. 2 Young 97, Clark 17
Mariah King scored 32 points and pulled down 16 rebounds, and Chanise Jenkins added 21 points and 10 boards as the Dolphins improved to 7-0 overall and 1-0 in the Public Red-West.

Katie Wheeler and Meghan Holy scored 21 points each as Loyola improved to 5-1. Ruby Barnes scored 16 points to lead Hope (4-4).

Mia del Rosario (13 points) and Kim Fitzpatrick (17 ) led Roycemore (1-1).

Ida Crown improved to 4-4 behind Ashley Bokor (16 points) and Ariana Yudkowsky (11).

Letrece Harris had 12 points and eight rebounds and Shakiyla Carridine added 10 points for Longwood (2-3, 1-0 Metro South).

Morgan Park won its Windy City South opener and improved to 3-6 overall. Ayana Hardy-Fuller had 14 points and 20 rebounds and Erica Askew added 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the winners.

Eileen Cullina had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Sydney Stewart added 10 points and 13 boards to lead Morgan Park Academy (4-2, 1-0) in its Independent School League opener.

Anneke Stremler led Timothy Christian with 18 points and Meghan Leach added 12 points.
