Both Chicago-area teams lost their season-openers at the tournament that featured some of the top teams from around the country. Chris Colvin led Young with 14 points and eight assists while Marcus Jordan added 12 points. Jeremy Jones scored 23 points and Robert Robinson 12 for Simeon.
