He voices a New York cabby who tells the tale of a young newcomer to the Big Apple who gets separated from his dog. He goes looking for her accompanied by a magical imp, Little Spirit, who introduces him to all the interesting people and cultures New York has to offer at holiday time.

A case hits close to home for Morgan (Shemar Moore), who was a police officer before joining the team, when a serial killer focuses on members of the police force in Phoenix.

A food bank deliveryman is found buried up to his neck in the backyard of a suburban home with flower petals placed around his head, making him look like a large flower. These unusual circumstances lead Crews and Reese (Damian Lewis, Sarah Shahi) to believe the murder may be connected to a cult from the 1970s.
