The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is open all year, with lowered winter rates at nearby Maswik and Yavapai Lodges and a special at the historic El Tovar right on the rim.
At Maswik South and Yavapai West, rooms are priced at $82 per night plus tax. At Maswik North and Yavapai East, rates are $105 per night plus tax.
In all cases, prices are for single or double occupancy and valid through March 5, excluding Dec. 19-Jan. 3 and Feb. 13-15.
Then there’s the “El Tovar Romance Package,” with a night’s stay at this national historic landmark, plus dinner for two with a bottle of wine, for $351 plus tax.
