Got a minute? Smart ways to spend an unexpected break in your busy day.

Master your junk mail

Take those big store coupons out of the junk mail stack and slip them into a Zip-loc bag. Add any other store coupons you have — the rewards receipts from CVS, the coupons that Borders keeps e-mailing you, etc. Put the bag in your purse. Next time you’re buying a toaster, you can skip the “Darn, I had a coupon at home!” routine and get the discount.

Save time later by taking a few minutes now to mark your unwanted e-mail as “junk e-mail” so it doesn’t keep showing up in your inbox.
