The Meteors (7-2) will oppose St. Joe in the consolation final after Sean Montgomery (20 points, seven rebounds), Kyle Cain (17 points) and Montero Rice (13 points, seven rebounds) had just enough to squeak by Foreman (5-3). Lavonte Dority had 29 points and Mike McCall 17 for the Hornets.
Fifth-place semifinals
Homewood-Flossmoor 61, Glenbrook North 55
Courtney Jones sparked the upset for the Vikings with 17 points and 10 rebounds as H-F (8-5) advanced to Tuesday’s fifth-place game. Alex Dragicevich led Glenbrook North (8-3) with 29 points, four assists and four steals.
Fenwick 52, St. Patrick 48
Xavier Humphrey paced the Friars with 15 points and eight boards while junior Jack Dittmer, a college prospect in football added 11 points and Evan Okrzesik handed out seven assists. Fenwick (6-4) will face H-F for fifth place. Kortney Darby had 15 points and 11 rebounds for St. Pat (8-3) while Tim Traversa had nine points, nine rebounds and six assists.

D.J. Cooper scored 23 points for Seton, which overcame a 16-4 deficit at the end of the first quarter. Aaron Nelson led all scorers with 27 points for Bloom while also pulling down eight rebounds.

Gerod Carter scored a game-high 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting, pulled down 15 rebounds and blocked three shots for Fenger, who will play Bloom for fifth place Tuesday. Kevin Davis scored 14 points for the winners. Gerald Dorsey had a team-high 16 points, Robert Culver added 11 points and nine rebounds and Roosevelt Green finished with 10 points and seven steals for Tinley.

Steve Reynolds had 21 points, 12 rebounds and three steals and Jarrett Foster added 14 for Shepard. Morgan Park’s Victor Scott scored a game-high 22 points and teammate Osay Williams added 18 in the loss.
Lincoln Park 75, Rich Central 61
Cory Proctor led three Lincoln Park players in double figures with 24 points. Teammates Cortney Bell (14 points, six rebounds, four steals, two blocks) and Demarco Nash (12 points) were the others. Adedeji Ibataylo (17 points), Christopher Williams (16) and Robert Smith (12) paced Rich Central.
Hales 80, Marian Catholic 77
Four players scored in double figures for Hales: Marcus Campbell had 22 points and eight rebounds, Patrick Miller finished with 20 points and eight assists and Jesse McGee and Kenneth Rhymes scored 15 each. For Marian, Brian Johnson led all scorers with 30 points, Danny Panici added 15 and Christopher Haskin 12.
Bolingbrook 61, Crete-Monee 53
Antoine Cox led the way for Bolingbrook with 22 points and Diamond Taylor added 13. Mario Redmond scored a game-high 23 points and Joshua Humphrey and Raymond Lester added 10 apiece for Crete.
San Diego Augustinian tournament

Marcell Portwood had 23 points and Lane Barlow had 18 points for St. Rita (7-4).
Tampa Hoops Classic
North Lawndale 53, Cincinnati Princeton (Ohio) 47
North Lawndale played a strong defensive game, forcing 20 turnovers. Jermaine Winfield had 17 points and eight rebounds for North Lawndale (8-1). Jonathan Mills had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. The Phoenix backcourt of Terry Johnson and Stephan Thorpe each had nine points and three assists. Thorpe played a strong tournament filling in for John Taylor, who is out with an elbow injury. North Lawndale will play either Gainesville (Fla.) or Orlando Olympia (Fla.) in the championship game tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
