Rolls-Royce
The cocktail: The Rolls-Royce. The cocktail is more affordable than the car it’s named for.
* 1 1/2 oz. gin
* 1 oz. sweet vermouth
* 1 oz. dry vermouth
* 1/2 oz. Benedictine
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add ingredients. Shake well, Strain into leaded crystal cocktail glass. (What else?)
Buick Century
The cocktail: Century Spur. The Buick Century may be mundane, but this refreshing drink isn’t.
* 1 oz. Alize passion fruit liqueur
* 1 oz. apricot liqueur
* 3/4 oz. lemon juice
* Lemon twist for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add ingredients. Shake well and strain. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Lincoln Cosmopolitan
The cocktail: Cosmopolitan. The car has long been forgotten, but the drink needs no introduction.
* 2 oz. Absolut Citron vodka
* 1 oz. Cointreau or triple sec
* 1 oz. cranberry juice
* 1/2 oz. lime juice
* Lime slice for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add ingredients. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with lime slice.
