Bank robber sought

The FBI is seeking the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a West Loop bank Tuesday and may have robbed another bank last month on the Southwest Side. The man walked into the Bank of America branch at 105 N. Halsted St. and handed the teller a note that announced the robbery, the FBI said.Anyone with information should call the FBI at 312-421-6700.

Carbon monoxide sickens 8

Emergencypersonnelcalled Wednesday to help a possible stroke victim at a South Side home instead found eight people suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, officials said. Fire Department crewscalled to a home in the 1500 block of East 85th Street about 3:30 a.m. measured carbon monoxide levels at 850 parts per million, said department spokeswoman Eve Rodriguez.

Bail set in O’Hare gun incident

An Indiana man arrested for trying to bring a gun through security at O’Hare was ordered held Wednesday on $75,000 bail. Goce Stojanovski, 47, was stopped by Transportation Security Administration screeners Tuesday when he tried to go through a screening checkpoint with a handgun and ammunition in the pocket of his carry-on bag, authorities said.
