Sophie Brodzinski,nee Kopecki, age 97, of Wheeling, beloved wife of the late Jerome “Harry”; dearest mother of Elizabeth Ann (Lee) Kern and Susan Mary (Joseph) Opalka; loving grandmother of Amy Elizabeth (Steve) Warda, Andrew Thomas (Corinne) Meadors and Susan Elizabeth Opalka; dear great-grandmother of Beau, Sophie, Emily, Daniel, Luke and Camille; cherished sister of Helen (late Henry) Zien; sister-in-law of Beatrice (late John) Labno and the late Irene (Henry) Gudel, Eleanore (Donald) Disbrow, Raymond (Virginia) Brodzinski and Arthur (Dororthy) Brodzinski; aunt and cousin of many.
Funeral Mass Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Addolorata Villa Chapel, 555 McHenry Road, Wheeling.
Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Visitation 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass in the parlor at the Addolorata Villa.
In lieu of flowers, Masses appreciated.
