Negro Leagues player dies
Joe Henry, the former Negro Leagues player who earned the nickname “Prince” for his skill at entertaining crowds, was mourned by family, friends and baseball fans Thursday in Brooklyn, Ill. Henry died last Friday. He was 78.

Formula One teams unanimously agreed to a series of cost-cutting measures Thursday, including limits on expensive testing and a cheaper engine for smaller teams starting in 2010.

Brett Favre is going to take his time before deciding whether to return with the New York Jets next season. The 39-year-old quarterback told ESPN on Thursday that he’s following the advice of Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum by not making a hasty decision.
