A Cicero woman delivering newspapers in the 1000 block of Pleasant Street was attacked and her car was stolen last week, according to Oak Park police reports.
The woman was reaching into her car about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday when a man struck her in the face with a metal bar and pushed her to the passenger side of her 2000 Nissan Quest. He then drove her to an alley in Chicago, where she escaped.
