‘Bromance’
MONDAYS AT 8 P.M., MTV
TV: “Bromance” is the catchy name of Brody Jenner’s new reality show on MTV. What is a “bromance?” According to Jenner, it’s a bond between a dude and his go-to guys. Nine guys are competing to win Jenner’s friendship and be part of his Hollywood lifestyle. FYI, Sleazy T and Frankie are Jenner’s “bros” and will be assisting him in the show.
Jenner says he is seeking true friendship, but if that’s the best way to find “bromance,” I would say probably not. Paris Hilton’s recent show “My New BFF” was similar, but it didn’t appear as exciting as the male version. I predict “Bromance” will be more successful than “My New BFF” in a bizarre, yet attractive, way. Overall, do I give the show thumbs up or thumbs down? I’m undecided. It’s too closely related to Hilton’s show, which turned out to be a thumbs down.

Gulliver’s Pizzeria and Restaurant
2727 W. HOWARD ST.
EATS: Gulliver’s is ideal for a date or a gathering of friends with its delicious menu and relaxed atmosphere. Located between Albany and California Avenues, the stuffed pizza gives new meaning to a Chicago favorite, and I think the thin crust would fare well even among New Yorkers. For under $20, Gulliver’s serves one of Chicago’s finest stuffed pizzas with homemade sauce. Other noteworthy dishes include half-pound “Gulliburgers.” For health-conscious eaters, Gulliver’s also has a large selection of salads. The restaurant is filled with antiques and an amazing display of lamps and paintings that create a unique experience.
