Two Calumet City police officers were found not guilty today of using excessive force against a then-14-year-old boy in 2007 while he and a then-16-year-old cousin were in a police station elevator.

Keith Paprocki and Steven Lundy were acquitted Thursday during a bench trial before Cook County Judge James Linn.

Both Paprocki and Lundy had each faced charges of felony official misconduct and felony battery, according to a report in the Northwest Indiana Times.
