“The L Word” starts airing its final episodes Sunday, but the show’s network says a spinoff pilot — with one of the characters going to prison — has been shot. Showtime’s president told “Entertainment Tonight” the spinoff would be “substantially different.” The spinoff is anchored by Leisha Hailey, who plays NPR journalist Alice Pieszecki.
