Revel in your meatatarianism by indulging locally with these four meaty food groups.
Burgers
No doubt, the thick slab of bologna atop the Bleepin’ Blagojevich burger (right, $10) at Kuma’s Corner (2900 W. Belmont Ave. 773-604-8769) is mighty tempting. But if you’re strapped for time — and prefer experiencing your meat sans-metal music — consider hitting up the newest location of made-to-order chain Five Guys (2140 N. Clybourn Ave. 773-327-5953). Burgers are $4-$6, minis run $3-$4.
Pork
Fans of the other white meat surely will find their like-minded counterparts at West Town Belgian eatery The Publican (left, 837 W. Fulton Market. 312-733-9555), where standing menu items include expertly cooked pork belly ($14), confit pork shoulder ($16) and salty pork rinds ($5). If that doesn’t satiate your craving, test your stomach’s limits and order the all-you-can-eat bacon feast ($10.95) during brunch at The Fifty/50 (2047 W. Division St. 773-489-5050).
Meatloaf
Mom’s old standby never looked so appetizing as it does at Lincoln Park’s ‘loaf central, The Meatloaf Bakery (2464 N. Clark St. 773-698-6667), where fans of the stuff can get it shaped like cupcakes (above), pies or — the mother load — a mashed potato-frosted cake. If you’re out and about on Mondays, stop by Twisted Spoke (501 N. Ogden Ave. 312-666-1500) for $11.95 all-you-can-eat meatloaf plates.
Steak
Ahh, steak. The cornerstone of the meatatarian’s belief system. Surely, you can’t go wrong with slabs of filet mignon cut tableside at Texas de Brazil Churrascaria (51 E. Ohio St. 312-670-1006), but if you like your steak a little more casual, check out the meat on a stick ($7-$8 — yep, we said it — at new Bucktown BYOB Skewerz (1560 N. Damen Ave. 773-276-9805).
