Volunteers will tutor adults who read, write or compute math below the 9th grade level or who need additional help in learning English. Tutors also are needed in the Blue Island area, where many students are on waiting lists for help. Training for tutors will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at the college, Building D, Room 116, 9000 W. College Pkwy. Attendance is mandatory on both days.
