A Waukegan man was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after a man was punched and his car was damaged at a Gurnee gas station this week, police said.
The victim was approached by Andrew Gonzalez, 21, of the 400 block of Keller Avenue, about 10:45 p.m. Monday at the station, police said.
Words were exchanged regarding Gonzalez’s girlfriend, who works with the victim, and the victim was punched in the face, Gurnee Police Cmdr. Jay Patrick said.
