Young (17-7) easily advanced to the second round. The Dolphins take a break from playoff action and will travel to Santa Ana, Calif., to face Los Angeles Fairfax at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The game is part of the Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei. Fairfax is the 19th-ranked team in the latest USA Today Super 25.

Vocational improved to 23-4 behind 22 points and six rebounds from junior Hollis Hill. Sanoyin Okesanjo scored 19 points and Angelo Nwankpa added 14 for Vocational.
