*An item in the Heard and Scene column in Thursday’s Live! section erroneously referred to DuPage Opera Theatre’s production of the Britten-Gay “The Beggar’s Opera” as being the work’s Midwest premiere. In fact, the Midwest premiere took place in 1977 in a production by the Oak Park Civic Opera.
*A headline in Tuesday’s Chicagoland section on a story about a federal trial concerning the fatal shooting of a College of DuPage student by a former Glen Ellyn police officer was imprecise. It is a civil trial, not a criminal trial.
