As a 17-year-old, I would just like to say thank you to the congressmen and congresswomen for acting quickly to sign away hundreds of billions of dollars that my generation and I will be accountable for. I am eagerly anticipating this overwhelming, incomprehensible burden and reconsidering my career choices. Surprisingly, even as a teenager, I know that you can’t get something, be it tax breaks or handouts, for nothing.
And as it seems, we might just be getting nothing for about $800 billion.
