Americans Shani Davis of Chicago and Trevor Marsicano won gold and silver medals at 1,500 meters Thursday at the world single distances speedskating championships. Shani Davis finished in 1 minute, 46.19 seconds at Richmond Olympic Oval, the speedskating venue for next year’s Vancouver Games.
