Blake Hickman threw five no-hit innings with 10 strikeouts for Simeon (2-0). Freshman Shane Brown was 2-for-3 with a triple. Hickman also hit a three-run triple, and Elliott Muhammad doubled and scored the game-winning.

Winning pitcher Leah Stevenson threw four innings and struck out five. Molly Sarate was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

Nikki Wagner was 2-for-3 with a home run. Winning pitcher Melissa Senese struck out three in a complete game, giving up two earned runs.

For De Sales(1-1), Brianna Wolfe came on in relieft in the bottom of the fourth inning with the scored tied 4-4 and shut the door, finishing with nine strikeouts.
