Winning pitcher T.J. Bujanski struck out three in four no-hit innings. He also had two home runs and four RBIs.

Keegan Mascarella was 4-for-4 with two home runs, including a grand slam, and eight RBIs for Cary-Grove (1-0). Nick Hammonds and Chris Waylock each hit two home runs as well.

Winning pitcher Scott Marinier threw all five innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out eight for St. Rita (1-0). Mark Payton was 2-for-2 with a double and a three run home run. Justin Kopale was 1-for-1 with a sacrifice fly and a two-run home run.
