A Chicago man faces a felony theft charge after police said he was caught holding the bag — four of them — allegedly belonging to an Oak Park retailer.
Alphonso Mack, 44, of the 5000 block of West Congress Parkway, was arrested April 4 in the 100 block of South Oak Park Avenue after he was allegedly seen putting four purses into a plastic bag. The purses belonged to Anana’s Clothing at 109 S. Oak Park Ave., police said.
