*A story Thursday misstated the timing of Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis’ change in department policy to require watch commanders to respond to scenes where officers may be driving while intoxicated. The policy was changed in March 2008.
*An article in The Talk on Thursday misstated the amount that investors may have lost in alleged fraud by Bernard Madoff. The correct figure is $65 billion.
*In some editions Thursday, a photo caption about “tea party” tax protesters in the Loop described them as saying the Pledge of Allegiance. They were, in fact, singing the national anthem.
