A Bank of America branch at 201 S. State St. was robbed about 1 p.m. today, said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien.
The robber fled with an unidentified amount of money and was not in custody, he said in a report on the WBBM-AM Web site.
No injuries were reported.
