Lauren Conrad isn’t a genius; she just plays one in an upcoming “Family Guy” episode.
“The Hills” star will voice herself in the May 3 episode. In it, Brian gets drunk after learning his sweetheart Jillian (Drew Barrymore) is getting married. He picks up Conrad, but berates himself for it because he thinks she’s a ditz. Not so, Conrad told reporters during a Monday conference call.
“Well, they basically make fun of me for being dumb,” she said, laughing. “And then [Brian] discovers that I’m actually a genius and that [the dumb me is] a character I play because America likes dumb people. … I think it’s a more exaggerated version of who I am, but it was kinda fun to play.”
Conrad also revealed that she was invited to but won’t attend the wedding of her “Hills” frenemy, Heidi Montag, to Spencer Pratt.
