Kevin O’Rourke struck out 13 in a three-hitter for Grayslake Central (14-9).

Rodrigo Rodriguez (1-0) struck out all five batters he faced in picking up the win and had two hits, including a solo home run. Jesus Ramirez went 2-for 3 and drove in two runs for Kelly (11-2, 9-1).

Maine South 8, Libertyville 1
In a game played at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Tyler Benz pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up three hits and an unearned run. Dan Raetzman was 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBIs, and Ronnie Mack was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs for Maine South (8-12).

Mt. Carmel improved to 14-10 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

Charlie White earned the win and hit a two-run home run for Naperville North (17-5, 10-3 DuPage Valley).

Oak Lawn improved to 19-3 behind Justin Polehonki (4-1), who allowed three hits and struck out nine in 5 2/3 innings.

A.J. Woynerowski was 4-for-4 with three RBI for Providence (11-11).

Erick Tallez struck out six in a complete game and Giovanni Acevedo hit a home run for Roosevelt (5-8).

Mike Witas went 2-for-3 and scored three runs for St. Laurence (18-5, 10-0 Catholic White).

St. Francis de Sales 8, Seton 4
Tim Gonzalez was 2-for-4 with two RBI and three steals for St. Francis (9-16). James Trinidad was 2-for-4 with two steals.

Shepard 10, Bremen 3 (5 innings, rain)
Ryne Kman struck out 11 in the rain-shortened victory as Shepard improved to 13-10 overall and 8-3 in the South Suburban Blue.

Kyle Cegarac (4-0) threw a three-hitter and struck out 15 for T.F. South (12-8, 8-1 SICA East). Josh Titus had two singles and a stolen base and scored two runs for the winners.

Jocelyn Oppenhuis threw a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts for Illiana (17-5).
