Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We asked RedEye’s Twitter followers the following short essay question: If it’s proven that Derrick Rose cheated on his SAT, would it change your opinion of him? Here are some of the responses. Test your knowledge with RedEye every day at twitter.com/redeyechicago.

@keithdow

His job is to play basketball, so it wouldn’t change my opinion. Lord knows how many other NBA players have done the same.

@Perno

No, he still chokes at free throws in pressure situations, regardless of his SATs.

@kevincastillo

I’d still be a fan, but it would. Mostly because he’s portrayed as such an upstanding, good-head-on-his-shoulders, humble guy.

@Zephian

If basketball A, travels at speed X toward hoop Y, with a velocity of Z, who cares?! He plays great ball.

@Pletty

Nope, nobody’s asking him to deliver their baby, he puts a ball in a hoop, it’s a game, that is all …

@danticoa

SATs. Seriously? At this stage of the game? Nobody past the age of 18 cares what your SAT scores were. Move on.

@MOgulnick

No. We all make mistakes. I dislike the SAT/ACT anyway. They’re no judge of a person’s true abilities. I stick by Rose.
