Between beefing, brawling, blogging and releasing the occasional album, Kanye West is the superstar that keeps on giving. He’s always creating something, and he’s always grumpy. Much like we imagine (Radiohead’s) Thom Yorke to be, only with better shoes. Anyway, if you had been wanting to keep track of West’s various feuds, girlfriends and side projects, and preferred such information be provided in handy list form, you’re in luck.

Kanye’s top 5 most entertaining feuds

With 50 Cent: Remember? They released albums on the same day in ’07, and faux-beefed about it for a while?

With “South Park”: An April episode re-imagined West as a gay fish (right). Publicly, he took it well (“I’M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE,” he blogged), but we’re betting he was actually pretty upset.

With Stephen Colbert: Battled over chart positions. Definitely his most entertaining fake feud, except for the other ones.

With the MTV Awards: After losing, implied the awards show is fixed. Many angry blog posts ensued.

With ’08 Bonnaroo-goers: West was booed after his headlining slot was delayed. Many angry blog posts ensued.

Kanye’s top 5 proteges

Kid Cudi: The Ohio-based rapper’s long-gestating debut, “Man on the Moon,” is due out this summer. Judging from its many leaked tracks, it’ll be 10 different kinds of awesome.

A-Trak: Stellar remixer, and West’s tour DJ.

Amber Rose: West’s recent girlfriend, the one with the shaved head. She recently posed naked, with her head in Kanye’s lap, for a Vuitton ad.

Estelle: “American Boy,” her duet with West, was her first (and so far only) American hit.

Rihanna: Makes a half-dressed appearance in West’s new “Paranoid” video.

Top 5 most memorable thingsKanye has said recently

On books: “Sometimes people write novels and they just be so wordy and so self-absorbed. I am not a fan of books. I would never want a book’s autograph. I am a proud non-reader of books.”

On modesty: “I don’t have the traditional false modesty a celebrity’s supposed to have. I can’t lie to anybody about the way I feel about myself. I’m too dope. I’m super-dope.”

On having his e-mail account hacked: “YOOOO! WHY WON’T YOU LET ME BE GREAT!!!?”

On rainbows being associated with gay pride: “I mean, how is that a gay thing? Colors? Having a lot of colors is gay?”

On rumors he’s going to anger-management classes: “I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!!”

Top 5 things Kanye’s rumored to be doing that do not involve music

Designing a line of sneakers for Louis Vuitton: They’re pretty nice.

Designing a clothing line: Rumored for fall ’09. He’s been promising this for a while, though.

Fatburger franchises: He’s apparently opening 10 local branches of the beloved fast-food chain.

Designing another line of sneakers: For Nike.

Blogging: kanyeuniversecity.com features Kanye ruminating on all things Kanye. There are rambling, all-caps rants, links to favorite videos and mp3s and to an impeccably collated selection of artists and designers.
