Ensemble Espanol’s American Spanish Dance Festival has flamenco classes, workshops and performances, beginning with the Duende Flamenco performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, at Northeastern Illinois University (5500 N. St. Louis Ave., $29.50, tickets.com). A dance seminar and flamenco master classes are next at NEIU (go to neiu.edu/eespanol and click on classes for schedule). The Flamenco Passion gala wraps it all up, celebrating the ensemble’s 33-year anniversary with world premieres by international and national artists.
