On Friday, June 12, television networks will cease using analog signals and will broadcast in all-digital format. We have decided to make the conversion in our TV listings now. The vast majority of readers have cable or satellite service, and are unaffected by the switch, or are already using digital converters.
The digital changes affect only the broadcast stations at the top of our grids. Most of those stations will retain their familiar station numbers. The few exceptions are in the following chart:
