Sounds like you’re going to be hearing from Adam Lambert a lot sooner than expected.
An album of songs recorded by Lambert before his rise on the show will be released by Hi Fi Recordings and Wilshire Records this summer, beginning with the single “Want,” The Associated Press reports. The tracks reportedly were recorded in 2007 and 2008, and the album will be titled “On with the Show.”
The project is separate from anything he’s doing with 19 Entertainment and RCA Recordings, with whom Lambert inked a deal earlier this month after losing to Kris Allen in the “Idol” finale.
But what will it sound like? RedEye took a stab at guessing Lambert’s inspiration.
