Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

One day, Ana Fernatt decided to tweet to us (@redeyechicago) that she would go to 50 Chicago festivals this summer.

We took her seriously. Now, she’s unstoppable.

Just you try to keep up with her this weekend on @redeyelivetweet as she makes her way to the Soul Music Festival and Sunday’s Pride Parade, her 19th and 20th fests of the summer. Share your own experiences on her blog at redeyechicago.com/50fests.

Here are some highlights from last weekend, when she hit four fests:

– Peace Fest: “Peace Fest was like stumbling upon a family picnic at the commune.”

– Festa Pasta Vino: “It was as if a piece of the ‘old country’ had been kept under plastic covering, like a couch in your grandma’s house, only to be aired once a year for Festa Pasta Vino.”

– Belmont Arts and Music Fest: “I didn’t get to see Tinted Windows with Taylor Hanson — that’s enough to ruin it for me.”

– Taste of Randolph: “Yummy, yummy, yummy.”

PRIDE DONE RIGHT
