The real question about the lineup of this show, featuring Demi Lovato (right), David Archuleta and Jordan Pruitt, is how did Archuleta find his way into the mix? Lovato is your Disney actress turned pop star, and Jordan Pruitt (no, not Jordin Sparks … that’s a different person) is another Disney critter turned singer. And then there’s Archuleta, “American Idol” runner-up from last year. He’s the right age, but do the two pop cultural colossi play in different sandboxes? Hmmm, another good question. What will be beyond question are the keening screams as kids go goofy over their music idols, screams in that very special pitch that dogs and parents can hear.
