White Sox 5, Rays 0: Mark Buehrle threw the 18th perfect game in ML history, aided by a leaping catch from Dewayne Wise in the ninth and a Josh Fields grand slam.
Athletics at Yankees, late: Yankees starter CC Sabathia is 8-3 in his last 11 decisions. The Yankees have won six straight and are 32-16 at home. The A’s begin an eight-game road trip that ends in Boston.
Twins at Angels, late: Angels starter Jered Weaver is coming off his shortest outing of the season, 3 2/3 innings in which he allowed eight hits and five earned runs.

Giants 5, Braves 1: Barry Zito allowed one run and three hits in seven innings and the Giants salvaged a game in the four-game series and snapped the Braves four-game winning streak.
Phillies 9, Padres 4: Jayson Werth and Pedro Feliz had three hits apiece and starter Cole Hamels allowed three runs in seven innings.
Cardinals 4, Nationals 1: Adam Wainwright pitched six innings and Rick Ankiel homered in a game called after 6 1/2 innings due to rain.
Pirates at D’backs, late: D’backs starter Dan Haren leads the majors with a 1.96 ERA and has allowed three earned runs in his last four starts and one run in 17 innings.
