After losing most of his hearing when his platoon is hit by heavy shelling during the Vietnam War, Richard Pimentel (Ron Livingston) becomes a motivational speaker and a driving force behind the Americans With Disabilities Act after he returns to college and befriends Art Honeyman (Michael Sheen, “The Queen”), an acerbic campus militant who has cerebral palsy. Melissa George also stars in this uplifting, fact-based 2007 drama.
