*In today’s preprinted North Chicagoland Extra section, a photograph and a caption that accompanied a story about overcrowded schools in District U-46 presents a misleading impression. Channing Elementary School in Elgin is not one of the overcrowded schools.

*In regard to an article Thursday about an investigation into a methadone-related death, Lake County State’s Atty. Michael Waller said he misspoke and should have stated that methadone clinics routinely do urine tests before giving methadone.
