* Scattered showers and t-storms accompany a cold front as it moves south through the area. A few severe storms are possible.

* Mostly cloudy, but there will be periods of sunshine. When the sun breaks through, it will accentuate the humid feel to the air as it goes to work evaporating moisture on the ground.

* Highs peak in the upper 80s early in the afternoon, then readings fall as winds shift northwest.

* Clouds and a few showers could persist in southern portions tonight.
