Millennium Park’s free summer lunchtime series, On Stage at Noon, continues with quite the full lineup this week. On Friday, it’ll be as if you were at the Grant Park Music Festival as the orchestra holds an open rehearsal. The weekend goes family-style Sunday with the Chicago Children’s Theatre production of “The Selfish Giant,” an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s short story about friendship and generosity presented with puppets and original music. The week closes out with dance from the Molly Shanahan/Mad Shak dance ensemble (Tuesday) and Natya Dance Theater (Wednesday and Thursday). All performances begin at noon in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Millennium Park, 100 N. Michigan Ave., and are free. For a complete schedule go to millenniumpark.org. 312-742-1168.
